Software License Agreement

This Software License Agreement (“License”) is between you and Wiremint, LLC (“Wiremint,” “we,” “us”). It covers software we provide, including apps, command-line tools, SDKs, API client libraries, firmware, and updates (the “Software”).

The Software is licensed, not sold. Wiremint and its licensors retain all ownership and intellectual property rights.

Use of our websites and online services is also governed by the Terms of Service. Pre-release builds are also governed by the Beta User Agreement.

1. Grant

Subject to this License, Wiremint grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your own internal or personal purposes, in object-code form, on devices or environments we support.

If you have a paid plan or an order form, that order may grant additional seats, environments, or API volume. Those limits are part of this License.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy the Software except for a reasonable backup
• Modify, translate, or create derivative works of the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source, except where a law says we cannot prohibit it (and then only to the extent that law requires)
• Rent, lease, lend, or provide the Software as a hosted service to third parties except through Wiremint’s own Services
• Remove proprietary notices
• Use the Software to violate law or the Terms
• Publish benchmarks of non-public Software without our permission

3. Open source and third-party components

The Software may include third-party or open-source components. Those components are licensed under their own notices, which we will make available where required. This License does not limit rights you have under those notices.

4. APIs and keys

API credentials are part of the Software. You must keep them secret, use only documented interfaces, and stay within published rate and use limits. We may rotate or revoke keys that are leaked or abused.

5. Updates

We may provide updates. Updates may be required for continued use. This License applies to updates unless we supply different terms.

6. Feedback

If you send Feedback about the Software, you grant Wiremint the same license described in the Beta User Agreement.

7. Term

This License continues until you stop using the Software or we terminate it for breach. On end, you must stop using the Software and delete copies in your control. Sections 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9 survive.

8. Disclaimer and liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WIREMINT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

LIABILITY IS CAPPED AS STATED IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE. If you obtained the Software only as part of a free or beta offering, our total liability related to the Software will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).

9. Export and government

You will not export or use the Software in violation of U.S. or other export laws. If you are a U.S. government end user, the Software is “commercial computer software” under applicable FAR/DFARS, licensed only with the rights in this License.
